Chuck Extrand, PhD

Chuck Extrand, PhD, has extensive experience in directing research & development for a wide range of markets, including medical device, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, solar, fuel cell, and aerospace. Currently, Chuck is a Principal (CTO and Founder) at AceMarga, where he has helped companies that range in size from startup to Fortune 50 develop and test new materials and products. He previously held technical and executive leadership positions at Fluoroware, Entegris, Colder Products Company, and Protolabs. Chuck has received the Robert L. Patrick Fellowship from the Adhesion Society, and the Dover Growth and Innovation Award. He serves on the Advisory Board for the University of Minnesota Technological Leadership Institute (TLI), and the Editorial Board for the Journal of Adhesion Science & Technology.
