Dr. Stuart Albert

Associate Professor Emeritus, Strategic Management & Entrepreneurship, University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management

Stuart Albert is an Associate Professor in the Strategic Management and Organization Department. Albert is an expert on the topic of timing. Some of his major publications include The Timing of Dissent and Towards a Theory of Timing: An Archival Study of Timing Decisions in the Persian Gulf War. Currently, Albert is writing a book on how timing affects all aspects of business, including how to determine the right time to act.

Stuart is an expert on the importance of timing and process methodology. Over the last 30 years, he has been a faculty member or visiting scholar at several institutions including: MIT, Harvard, and the University of Minnesota, where he is a professor emeritus.

When is the right time to do X? When will Y occur?  When will I encounter a perfect storm? When must I pause or speed up? Timing - as any firm or organization knows - if not everything, is often critical.
